Senate Introduces Bill to Expand Chiropractic to Retired Military

Last week, Republican Jerry Morgan and Democrat Tammy Baldwin introduced a bill to the senate entitled “The Chiropractic Health Parity for Military Beneficiaries Act”. This act would expand chiropractic care coverage to retired military personnel and to the coast guard members as well. This expansion would take place for those who have TRICARE healthcare. For any of those who have been int he service recently, they are aware the US military employs chiropractors as a part of the military healthcare team, but now the senate is pushing for chiropractic care to be covered even after service. One the years here, we have treated several veterans, in fact our chiropractor is a veteran him self! So, we understand how beneficial this can be to our patients who have served.
